Fitness: My New Challenge ♥

Monday, 4 July 2016

Health and Fitness. It's everywhere at the moment isn't it? And so it should be.

Growing up I was an extremely active child, I loved P.E at school and took part in lots of different hobbies including; Gymnastics, Swimming, Horse Riding, Ice Skating, Ballet, Modern Dancing... When we moved from Blackpool to Preston, I gave up all of my classes and just took to hanging around with friends out and about but still enjoyed doing sports at school.
I also ate well and rarely had 'rubbish food'. My mum always tells of the time she took me shopping and said I could choose anything I wanted for tea, thinking I'd choose a pizza or something. I ended up choosing a Jacket Potato with Tuna and an apple.

Team LBD ♥

Wednesday, 15 June 2016

Today I'm sharing a collaboration with the amazing Little Black Dress - this would have been a lot sooner but unfortunately I've been really ill recently and I just didn't feel like I could do this dress justice but hopefully I have now.

Team LBD are based in Manchester and their aim is 'to make you look and feel a million dollars, whatever your special event'. They really do have the most stunning dresses, with over 80 different brands you're bound to find your perfect dress, no matter the occasion.

They are currently running a competition to win your own dress, which you can read about here. Follow them on Instagram and Twitter to enter @teamlbd.

Competition Win: Trip to Scarborough ♥

Friday, 10 June 2016

I was extremely lucky just before Christmas to win a Twitter competition which was a night in a Honeymoon Suite in The Ox Pasture Hall Hotel. This included Afternoon Tea, Evening Meal and Breakfast.

'Ox Pasture Hall country house hotel is privately owned and recognised as the best of the Scarborough hotels and one of the finest luxury hotels in Yorkshire.
Located near Scarborough in the historic North Yorkshire Moors, the hotel is close to the sea and in easy reach of Filey, Whitby, Helmsley and York.
Ox Pasture Hall is set in seventeen acres of its own picturesque grounds and offers a haven for peace and respite from the frantic pace of modern day life, yet the busy seaside resort of Scarborough is only a couple of miles away.
Here you can enjoy the heather filled moors, scenic dales and the spectacular heritage coastline, all within a few miles of this superb Scarborough hotel.'

This gorgeous hotel is located just a 5 minute drive from my Grandma's so we decided to go a day earlier and stay with her for a night so we could spend some more time there. The day we arrived we headed into Scarborough as there's a lovely fudge shop I know of (I lived in Scarborough for 6 months a few years ago) and we wanted to get some fudge to take home with us. We also enjoyed some yummy fish and chips and a huge ice cream!

Cherry Diva Haul ♥

Tuesday, 24 May 2016

I absolutely adore Cherry Diva. They're an online store that started in 2013 and are committed to bringing customers original, on trend and affordable statement and bohemian jewellery. I've waited until I've built up quite the collection to do this blog post. I bought my first item last summer and I've been addicted ever since.  So I'll show you the goodies I've got.

Darts Night ♥

Thursday, 19 May 2016

I have been so busy lately with finishing my second year of University and trying to find a job that I've been neglecting my blog. I thought I would start it back off with a post from a recent trip to the darts.

I bought my boyfriend some tickets to watch the darts at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 28th April. We decided since we would like to have a few drinks whilst we're there it was better to get a hotel. I had a look on Booking.com and found a gorgeous hotel for us to stay in called the 'Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel'. I got a deal on the website for the room at £86.00 (+£18.00 for their parking), we didn't add breakfast as we thought it was a bit expensive.
